ALEX BENEDICT

Alex is currently teaching one class a week via Zoom. This class is focussed on awareness and breath. Gentle movement that promotes wellbeing by freeing up tension in the body. She is happy to welcome all who have practiced yoga with her before.

Class details:

    Friday 6 - 7 pm: Gentle Hatha Yoga.
    A gentle practice that is suitable for all.

Cost:
    Currently, whilst online, all classes are free. Alternatively, a donation to the MUKTI charity.

ALEX GRANVILLE

Mother & Baby Yoga - Mondays 10.30-11.45.    Yoga for babies from 10 weeks to help develop milestones, strengthen muscles assisting with brain development together with postnatal yoga for mummies helping strengthen the body after birth aiding long term benefits for women’s health.

Pregnancy Yoga (14-30 weeks) - Tuesdays 6.15-7.30pm.  Yoga to help boost energy and help safely keep the pregnant body supple without straining.  To help strengthen the muscles of the body and also help expectant mothers embrace the new changes of the body and have a greater awareness of posture and breath.  

General Yoga - Tuesdays 7.45-9pm and Thursdays 7.45-9pm.   All ability and age welcome to promote strength, flexibility, mind-body awareness and relaxation.

Wellwoman Yoga - Wednesdays 10.30-11.45am.  Yoga asanas are taught with breath awareness, with the aim of creating suppleness and strength from inside out, stimulating the whole neuroendocrine system catering for needs related to reproductive health.  These classes are also beneficial for women at all stages of the menopause.  

Pregnancy Yoga (30+ weeks) - Thursdays 6.15-7.30pm.  Yoga to help strengthen the muscles of the body and also help expectant mothers embrace the new changes of the body & have a greater awareness of posture and breath.  These classes tend to have a greater focus on birth preparation as well as enhancing wellbeing throughout pregnancy.  They are an ideal complement to your antenatal care.

JUDE BELL

Jude is currently teaching 3 classes a week via Zoom.  All classes are aimed at letting go of stress and tension and bringing you into stillness.

Class details:

  Monday  7.30 -8.30 pm:  Gentle Hatha Yoga.

  Wednesday 2.00 – 3.00 pm: Gentle Hatha Yoga.

KATHRYN WILLDER


Kathryn is currently teaching 5 guided relaxation and meditation sessions each week via ZOOM.

LAURA FINCH

LUCI TRENDLE

Luci is currently teaching 4 classes a week via Zoom. These classes are focussed, themed and mindful; awareness is always at the heart of her teaching. She is happy to welcome all who have practiced yoga before.

  This lunchtime class is at the gentle pace of 1.5 hour duration.  Suitable for all.

  7:30 – 9:00pm: Open Hatha Yoga.
  A more dynamic practice, suitable for regular practitioners.

LYNN HOOK

Lynn is teaching two classes a week via Zoom. Both classes emphasis breathing and awareness, for a truly balanced mind and body.

Class details:

  Fridays 8.30 – 9.45 a.m.  Sunrise Yoga
  Awakening the body with deep stretches, pranayama and energising yoga poses.  Suitable for all.

  Mondays 8.00 – 9.00 pm.  Sunset Yoga
  Yin Yoga poses, gentle and mindful, focusing on breath to release tension, anxiety and stress from body and mind. Deeply relaxing for a good nights sleep.

MICHELLE MEAD

Michelle is currently teaching once a week via Zoom and Facebook Live. These classes focus on working with the breath, with the aim of releasing tension and aiding relaxation. She is happy to welcome all ages and abilities.

SWAMI AMBIKANANDA


Swami Ambikananda's classes focus on exploring awakening awareness through asana-s and pranayama (breathwork).

Class details:
  Sundays 6 to 7.15 pm; Contemplative Movement
  Yoga covering both philosophy and the anatomy of movement; allowing participants to experience the ‘inner character’ of being..

  Thursdays 6 – 7.15 pm; Centering
  A class that looks at how movement brings together the anatomical constellations of energy, mind and body that expresses who we are.

UDDHAVA SAMMAN


Uddhava is teaching four online Yoga classes a week. Each class is tailored to the specific needs of the group and focuses on awareness and people doing what is comfortable for them. Three of the classes are designed for people with MS and the challenges they face.

Class details:

   Monday 11:30 am – 12:15 pm: Chair Yoga
   A seated Yoga class for people with Multiple Sclerosis using a chair or wheelchair.

   Wednesday 11:30 – 12:45 pm: Yoga for MS
   A Yoga class for people with Multiple Sclerosis.

   Friday 11:30 – 12:15 pm: Chair Yoga
   A seated Yoga class for people with Multiple Sclerosis using a chair or wheelchair.

   Saturday 11:30 – 12:45 pm, Yoga for the Over 50s
   A Yoga class designed for the needs of older people.

Cost:
   The classes for people with MS are by donation to the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre. Currently, whilst online, the Saturday Yoga class is at the discounted price of £5 per class.
